 As you all know, It has always been my dream to be Miss Texas not only for the famous crown and sash. My real reason for wanting to be Miss Texas is for the JOB, not the glitz. Miss Texas travels all around the state for a year making over 400 appearances, meeting influential people, and influencing the lives of others.

My first passion is Breast Cancer, but my second passion is working with children. I am currently interning with Arlington ISD's Safe and Drug Free Schools Program where I work with students who have been caught in possession or under the influence of drugs or alcohol in school. I love working with students, and if I win Miss Texas, I will have the ability to do this all year long.

In order for my dream to come true, I will need your help! Through your support, contributions, and prayers I will be able to reach my goal and become your new MISS TEXAS. Right now I am currently working on Miss Texas ad pages. Ad Page sales are a tradition of the Miss America Organization. By donating money to buy an Ad Page, you are actually providing scholarships and opportunities to young women around the country.

One full ad page is $300. I know this is a pretty hefty contribution, and that is why I'm not asking any of you to buy a full page (unless you want to, lol!). If you could gather up whatever change you have and contribute whatever you can afford, $5, $10, $20, even just a dollar or two- it will all add up! Also, If you're involved in any sort of organization, or maybe work for a company that would be willing to donate, please send them my way! Its a great way to advertise and its 100% tax deductible!

No matter the size of your contribution, I will have a photo saved for you and YOUR NAME on an Ad Page in the Official Miss Texas Program Book! Even better, you will be helping provide scholarships for young woman, and helping their dreams come true.

The winner last year, Kristen Blair, sold over 20 Ad Pages.. so I know it's possible! Again, just one small contribution will eventually buy a full page and eventually provide a scholarship for one very lucky young woman. I would love to have a page of support from my family and friends. It would mean SO much to me!
